The Corporate Office in Vaughan, Ontario has formed a Charity Committee to focus on promoting GiveSome initiatives within Martinrea, as well as organizing fundraising and charity events for employees to participate. The goal is to help reinforce the company-wide vision of Making People’s Lives Better by promoting teamwork and an inclusive culture of One Martinrea. The team was excited to kick off their first local Charity Committee 50/50 Raffle on October 29 followed by a pizza lunch and Christmas Raffle. The events sparked a lot of interest from team members and funds went towards two Givesome projects. In addition, Martinrea has partnered with Givesome and selected the following charities from their platform which will receive all donations collected from the Campaign: Alzheimer’s Society of York Region The funds collected will support the purchase supplies for their day programs.
