Martinrea Slovakia welcomed refugees fleeing from the Ukrainian war and helped give those suffering from hearing loss a chance to work for the company. This was possible due to the Slovakian government passing a law allowing Ukrainian refugees to be able to work in the country. Martinrea Slovakia hired 18 Ukrainian employees with hearing disorders and with collaboration from the Slovak Association of Gesters, who offered specific training for the new team members.
